On Making a Jess Franco Soundtrack

Check out this very interesting interview with Mike Hugg, a member of Manfred Mann, about his part in writing and recording the soundtrack for Franco's VENUS IN FURS!




On Franco: "Before working on the film we were not really that aware of his reputation. We had a lot in common with him though, having also made a lot of music, some good some bad. I think for most artists it’s the same."

On Harry Alan Towers: "We did meet with Harry in the early stages ... But after we had talked general terms etc, we didn’t see him again."
